Bill Byun Bill Byun is a Managing Director of Samsung Venture Investment team, based in Silicon Valley office. Bill currently serves as a board director and board observer of private companies in USA, China, Taiwan and Canada. Prior to Samsung Ventures, Bill was an operations executive with Philips Semiconductor, KLA-Tencor, and Applied Materials. Bill received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from University of California at Santa Barbara and an MBA from Oxford University. Yoon Choi Yoon Choi serves as Samsung Ventures' Controller. Yoon oversees the Firm's financial reporting activities. Additionally, she works with portfolio companies to manage exit strategies on behalf of Samsung Ventures. Yoon joined Samsung Ventures from PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she was a member of the Venture Capital and Private Equity Group. Her prior work experience includes working in financial positions with both startups and multi-national companies. Yoon holds a BA in Literature from Kyongbuk National University (South Korea) and an MS in Accounting from Golden Gate University. Michael Jeon Michael Jeon joined Samsung Ventures as a Sr. Associate and focuses on digital media, telecom, and wireless investments. Prior to joining Samsung Ventures, Michael was a Manager with Samsung Electronics, where he developed strategic partnerships with prominent Silicon Valley companies for various Samsung business and corporate units, including Office of the CTO and Samsung Mobile Division. Before joining Samsung, Michael held product marketing and engineering positions with SAP, i2 Technologies, and other successful startups. Michael holds a BS in EECS from UC Berkeley, MS in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon, and an MBA from MIT Sloan. Brian Kang Brian Kang is a Managing Director of Samsung Ventures and makes investments
in the telecommunications and digital media sector. Brian led Samsung Ventures¡¯ investments
in Beceem Communications, Fortemedia, Gracenote, PicoChip, Radioframe Networks,
Brian holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo,
